The sun doesn’t set in the right direction for the recognisable section of skyline I selected, so I shot the image during the day and turned it to a silhouette at sunset with post processing. The skyline is emphasised further and I have a unique London sunset that nobody else has a picture of. It’s not a completely flat black silhouette, as I wanted the Union Jacks to be visible, as well as the clock face of Big Ben. The hands read just before 5pm, meaning that if this was shot at sunset, it would have been during winter. Scroll to see the progression.
